III.  OBJECTIVES

The general objectives of this class include:
  1. to introduce the concept of probabilty,
  2. to define probability,
  3. to compute probabilities and odds,
  4. to study discrete probability distributions and their applications,
  5. to study continuous probability distributions and their applications,
  6. to describe multivariate probability distributions,
  7. to discuss functions of random variables,
  8. to consider convergences and limits,
  9. to apply concepts to situation.
