III.     OBJECTIVES

The general objectives of this class include:

  1. to introduce vectors and vector spaces,
  2. to develop matrix manipulation techniques,
  3. to solve systems of simultaneous linear equations,
  4. to discuss a vector base set,
  5. to apply orthogonalization techniques,
  6. to use matrices in solving problems.
