text

Since this course was taught on-campus and recorded, the text for the Calculus I, II, and III sequence has changed. The current text covers the material in somewhat different order which changes the material covered in each of the first two semesters. Specifically, Transcendental Functions are now covered in Calculus I and Applications of Integration are delayed to the second semester—in effect chapters 5 and 6 of the Thomas text are reversed. A student taking Calculus I through the Distance Education course and continuing with Calculus II on-campus or via Distance Education at the present will need to study chapter 6 of the Thomas text for a complete coverage and will get a "double dose" of applications of integration.
